Digital Doc, LLC was formed in March 1997 as a research and development firm for the advancement of high-tech products in the dental and medical industries. Corporate headquarters was established in El Dorado Hills, California just outside Sacramento.
Recognizing that the wireless digital world is here, Mike Williams, former CEO, formed an alliance with SONY Medical Systems to create the next generation of intraoral cameras. To-date, only Digital Doc LLC has permission to display the SONY Logo on their dental cameras.
Digital Doc LLC is beginning their 11th year manufacturing FDA registered Intra-oral Cameras. Leading the way with innovative design and increased distribution channels, Digital Doc has delivered more than 8000 units world wide. Digital Doc’s wireless Aurora and PC compatible Evolution series cameras are fast becoming the intraoral camera of choice by major distributors and professionals around the world.
The company introduced the first major design (technology) change in intraoral cameras in the past 10 years. With the introduction of their state-of-the-art, digital, wireless, camera, Digital Doc and Sony have so revolutionized the intraoral camera that it may render existing technologies in the intraoral camera industry obsolete.
