Is the correct capture cable installed from the backpack to the gameport or USB port? See capture cable part numbers.
Has the correct joystick driver (2 axis, 2 button) been loaded in Gaming Options? This setting can be found in the “Windows control panel.”
Has the proper capture device been selected within the Software preferences? Normally a footswitch must be selected as the capture device.
